Upper ClassThe upper class was made up of mostly the king, his advisors, nobles, and church officials. This class lived in fancy houses and had valuable possessions such as furniture, art, and special artifacts. They had the majority of the power in England and ruled most of the parliament and monarchy.

Middle ClassMiddle class people included the merchants, manufacturers and landowners. Some jobs they had were skilled workers, carpenters, blacksmiths, dress makers, etc. They earned their living by their jobs. They belonged to Guilds.

Lower ClassThis class included ordinary workers as well as farmers. They were the poorest of the classes because of their small earnings and long hours. They lived in small, tight homes with a limited opportunity to improve their lives.
