England in the 17th century was full of fancy clothing and accessories, rich monarchs and beautiful art. But there also was many poor peasants, conflicts within parliament and monarchs trying to get more and more rich and powerful no matter what they took down in their way. Throughout the Tudor Era the monarchs were accepting of the Magna Carta and they tried to keep the parliament on their side. Then during the Stuart Era the monarchs started to go against the rules and conflicts between the monarchs and parliament.
